Setting up Personal Google Drive

    ChemLocator allows the users to index files from their personal Google Drive by associating their Google account with the application and creating a new content source that points to the forlder that needs to be indexed.

    {info} All users will be able to see the documents by default. For personal accounts ChemLocator will not index permissions.

    In order to limit access to these files please read Configuring content source permissions

    Prerequisites

    A personal Google account association will need to be created before creating this type of content source.

    Configuring the content source

    • Start by creating a new content source and selecting Personal GoogleDrive content source type.
    • Then select the Personal Google Account association that you have previously defined.
    • Navigate to your Google Drive folder that you would like to index (root folder will work as well, but it will index all folders and files, even the shared ones)
    • Copy the URL of the folder and paste it into the filed calles Strat addresses
    • Click + button or hit ENTER key
    • Save the content source Persona GDrive Content Source
    • Start a full crawl of the content source by clicking FULL CRAWL in the content sources list
