The i nstallation of this capability requires administrator rights. The process can be done through the following Registration Entries:
Install_ChemDraw_OLE_Redirection.reg
Install_ISIS_Symyx_OLE_Redirection.reg
The files are part of the standard JChem for Office installation and can be found in one of the following folders (bit-version dependent):
C:\Program Files\Chemaxon\Shared\MarvinOLE
C:\Program Files (x86)\Chemaxon\Shared\MarvinOLE
If the installation of this feature was successful the third-party OLE content will be converted during the OLE editing process.
After executing the Install_ISIS_Symyx_OLE_Redirection.reg or the Install_ChemDraw_OLE_Redirection.reg file your OLE object will be opened by Marvin in the future.
To remove the redirection of other vendors' OLE objects, simply run the uninstallation files, these are as follows:
Uninstall_ChemDraw_OLE_Redirection.reg
Uninstall_ISIS_Symyx_OLE_Redirection.reg
