    ConvertFromInChiToStructureAction

    Converts IUPAC InChi strings to structures.

    ConvertFromIUPACNameToStructureAction

    Converts IUPAC names or CAS Registry Numbers® to structures.

    Requires the Name to Structure license.

    ConvertFromMOLToStructureAction

    Converts MOL strings to structures.

    The ConvertFromMOLToStructureAction is not available in the JChem for Excel ribbon/context menu/menu/toolbar by default but it is possible to make it available by customizing the ribbon/context menu/menu/toolbar.

    ConvertFromShapeAction

    Converts simple Excel images and Marvin OLE shapes converted by the Convert to Image Shape and Convert to Marvin OLE Shape back to structures.

    Excel images inserted to the worksheet by other means cannot be converted to structures. This functionality is simply the reverse of Convert to Image Shapes and Convert to Marvin OLE Shape.

    ConvertFromSMILESToStructureAction

    Converts SMILES strings to structures. The following SMILES string formats are recognized:

    • SMILES

    • SMARTS

    • Chemaxon Extended SMILES

    • Chemaxon Extended SMARTS

      Tag Parameters:

    The parameters specified in the tag override the parameters specified in Options. Tag parameters have to be specified in the following format:

    Single parameter:

    <parameter name1>:<parameter value1>

    Multiple parameters:

    <parameter name1>:<parameter value1>;<parameter name2>:<parameter value2>

    Parameter: ResizeToDefault

    Values:

    • True: Resizes the cell to the default size specified in Options.

      tag="ResizeToDefault:True"

    • False: Keeps the cell size.

      tag="ResizeToDefault:False"

    Parameter: Placement

    Values:

    • Replace: Replaces the SMILES string with the structure in the cell.

      tag="Placement:Replace"

    • InsertRight: Inserts a new column to the right, and places the structures there, while keeping the original SMILES.

      tag="Placement:InsertRight"

    ConvertFromTextToStructureAction

    Converts text type formats (SMILES, InChi, Name, CAS Registry Number®) to structure.

    By applying this action, the conversion might be slower than by applying the specific conversion actions, for example, ConvertFromSMILESToStructureAction.

    This action is available on the ribbon by default.

    ConvertToChemDrawOLEAction

    Converts JChem for Excel specific structures to ChemDraw OLE objects.

    The ConvertToChemDrawOLEAction is not available in the JChem for Excel ribbon/context menu/menu/toolbar by default but it is possible to make it available by customizing the ribbon/context menu/menu/toolbar.

    ConvertToCXSMARTSAction

    Converts structures to Chemaxon extended SMARTS strings.

    ConvertToCXSMILESAction

    Converts structures to Chemaxon extended SMILES strings.

    ConvertToInChiAction

    Converts structures to IUPAC InChi strings.

    ConvertToIUPACNameAction

    Converts structures to IUPAC names.

    ConvertToOLEAction

    Converts JChem for Excel specific structures to Marvin OLE shapes.

    ConvertToSMARTSAction

    Converts structures to SMARTS strings.

    ConvertToSMILESAction

    Converts structures to SMILES strings.

    ConvertToStructureCommentAction

    Converts JChem for Excel specific structures to Structure Comment shapes.

    The ConvertToStructureCommentAction is not available in the JChem for Excel ribbon/context menu/menu/toolbar by default but it is possible to make it available by customizing the ribbon/context menu/menu/toolbar.

    ConvertToStructureImageAction

    Converts JChem for Excel specific structures to simple Excel images. For more information, see Convert Structures to Images.

    ConvertToJCSYSStructureAction

    Converts structure-related functions to JCSYSStructure function. For example, JC2DCleanStructure , JC3DCleanStructure , JCBemisMurckoStructure , JCStandardizeStructure and related functions, JCRGroupDecompositionQueryStructure and related functions, reactions related functions.

    This way the results of these functions become editable with appropriate editors.

    The ConvertToJCSYSStructureAction is not available in the JChem for Excel ribbon/context menu/menu/toolbar by default but it is possible to make it available by customizing the ribbon/context menu/menu/toolbar.

    ConvertHelmToStructureAction

    Converts Hierarchical Editing Language for Macromolecules-based (HELM) representations to structures. This action requires access to the Biomolecule Toolkit. The configuration details are summarized in Options in JChem for Excel > Actions, in " Convert HELM to Structure or Structure to HELM " section and all settings for " Convert To Structure " can be applied.

    ConvertStructureToHelmAction

    Converts peptide structures to HELM-based representations. This action requires access to the Biomolecule Toolkit. The configuration details are summarized in Options in JChem for Excel > Actions, in " Convert HELM to Structure or Structure to HELM " section and all settings for " Convert From Structure " can be applied.
