Convert from Text to Structure

The following text type formats can be converted to structures by a mouse-click:

• SMILES

• SMARTS

• InChi

• IUPAC name

• CAS Registry Number®

1. Select a Microsoft Word document, a PowerPoint presentation, or an Outlook email message that contains at least of the above-described text types.

2. Select a text and convert it to structure by pressing the From Text button on the JChem ribbon.

3. The converted structure is added to the Microsoft Office application .

Only one text can be converted to a structure at a time.
