Copying, Pasting, and Editing Structures in JChem for Office Lite

Copying and Pasting Structures:

In JChem for Office Lite, the Add button is not available on the JChem ribbon. Structures can only be inserted by pasting them into the document (Ctrl+V).
You can copy one or multiple structures from a chemical editor and paste them into Word, PowerPoint, Excel, or Outlook while using JChem for Office Lite. However, pasting multiple structure‑containing cells at once is not supported when copying from Excel into Word, PowerPoint, or Outlook.
Pasted structures are displayed according to their file format or the selected editor, except in Excel.
For details, see:Editor selection in JChem for Office Lite

Editing Structures:

You can edit any structure by double-clicking it, or by selecting the structure and choosing Edit button on the JChem ribbon. The structure opens in the selected chemical editor. After closing the editor, the structure in your Office document is automatically updated with your changes.
