What is the DSClient?

The DSClient is a standalone companion application that listens for registration tree messages from Compound Registration (CompReg) and persists them to a downstream database. This enables downstream applications and data warehouses to access registration data through direct SQL queries.

The DSClient only provides insight into data which has been streamed.

Quick Start

Getting Started

Follow these steps to get DS-client up and running:

  1. Set up CompReg with downstream publishing enabled
  2. Configure DSClient environment variables
  3. Start DSClient service
  4. Query the downstream database using SQL or data viewer applications

For detailed instructions, see the How To section.
