Specify External Image and Name Services

    It is possible to specify an external image and name services. To do this follow the steps below.

    1. Open the standalone .NET Marvin or the java version of MarvinSketch.

    2. Click Edit > Preferences. For more information regarding Preferences in MarvinSketch, see Preferences in MarvinSketch.

    3. On the Preferences window, select the Save/Load tab.

    4. Simply enter the URL of the service to the corresponding field.

    The entered service URLs are saved into the marvin.properties file, which can be found at the following location:

    C:\Users\<current user>\chemaxon

    The image service uses the imageImportServiceURL parameter.

    The name service uses the nameIOServiceURL parameter.

    {info} It is possible to specify these services through the embedded editor in one of the Office applications, but in this case, the URLs are not saved into the marvin.properties file.
