From External Structure Editors

    It is possible to simply copy structures from the commonly used structure editors to JChem for Excel cells in drawing objects and image formats. The following structure editors are supported:

    • MarvinSketch

    • Marvin JS

    • ChemDraw

    • SymyxDraw

    • ISISDraw

      1. Draw a structure in MarvinSketch and select it.

      2. Click Edit > Copy As or press Ctrl+K.

      3. Select a drawing application format or an image format form the list.

      4. To paste the structure to an Office application, use the Paste button, which is available through the ribbon and the context menu.

        From Marvin JS, structures can be copied only in default format (.mol), that is, structure display settings, for example, ball and stick cannot be pasted together with the structure. When copying from Marvin JS, only the ribbon Paste button can be used.
